With just over a fortnight left until the December 16th launch of Ten HD, more details continue to emerge, including some more specifics on the first week of programming, and a new video to compliment the earlier introduction to Ten HD promo.

Unlike the first video, theres no talking (or accents) to worry about, just a cover of Johnny Nash’s I Can See Clearly Now and a concept that visualises for us how much better the world can apparently be in high definition. Again, the very slick production is the work of Jane Eakin and Motion Foundry who it seems will be responsible for the on-air look of the new network.

With Seven HD already on the air, and Ten HD just a few weeks away, its just Nine HD, not due until March next year that will round out Australia’s commercial networks first foray into digital multichanneling.

– Thanks again to Alex from Motion Foundry for the video.

Have to agree that the ads for Ten HD have been really great, this and the previous one (despite the American accents!)

I seem to remember, I might just add, that I saw a music video a few months ago that was like this. The woman singing walked down a street and everything looked better than it actually was, like in the first part of this ad. I don’t know if it was a popular song or not (I probably saw it in the early morning on Rage), but perhaps it was inspriation for that part of the ad.

yeh i really wanna know who sings this version.i tried to find it on itunes but i couldn’t be bothered going thorugh 150 different versions.

This is the coolest ad ever. The song is great and that guy is hot. Anyone agree?

the world is amazing in HD…

Too Bad Ten HD now turned to One HD and became a 24 hour sports channel In March of 2009, Now where does anyone in Australia get Ten HD to watch our Favorite shows that pulled in more ratings when TEN HD was launched in October 2008, such as Supernatural, Medium, House, and all those great Sci-Fi shows after 9pm, Its Simple..YOU DON’T …ten Corporate Has Announced they won’t be transmitting the Network Ten Programming in HD 1080p since the launch of One-HD and There is nowhere you can view Ten Programming In HD unless your in the studios of Network Ten.
