This is my last Chaser post until next weekend I promise, but this face off between ABC veteran news reader Richard Morecroft and Sky News reporter Jacinta Tynan seemed too cool not to share. Its basicaly just a read-off between the two of them over some testing autocue dialogue.
I knew this show would be funny, I loved Today Today, but I just didn’t think it would be this good.
Sorry about the size of the H264 video, but don’t forget there is always a slightly smaller iPod version available through the podcast. I know I’m stepping on enough copyright as it is but I’d upload whole episodes if I didn’t fear the wrath of ABC legal.

The re-election campaign of President Josiah Bartlet is underway and moving quickly – so quickly that after Bartlet finishes a speech in Unionville, Indiana, Josh, Toby and Donna are accidentally left behind by the motorcade containing C.J. Cregg and the other staffers. The three must find their own way back to Washington D.C.

I finally got around to watching the first episode of the new ABC show ‘The Chaser’s War on Everything’ from last friday night.

Words can’t really describe my contempt for shows like Today Tonight, and you’re either going to agree or disagree with me… they pander, incite misguided anger, give misguided hope, and above all waste 60 minutes of primetime television every night.
I don’t claim to be a journalist (and my minor in journalism hardly qualifies me), but I can’t comprehend how any legitimate journalist could happily work for Today Tonight or A Current Affair.

The ABC continue to make excellent promo’s for the West Wing, but this time they’ve gone all out and made a “There’s more to..” ident for the show as well.
The show starts Thursday February 23 at 9.30pm, and according to the ABC;
A major overseas addition to ABC TV’s program lineup is the multi award-winning US drama The West Wing which starts screening this month on ABC Television, the channel many of its Australian fans have always considered to be its rightful home.
