First they devised Are You Being Shagged? to parody double entendre humour, now its Brightly Bloom the Daffodils taking a look at the tame and tasteful humour of the classic British sitcom… its “minor mishaps in an English village with mildly amusing consequences”.

Then for those of you fortunate enough to not know what a snuff film is you can just skip the second video. And finally another look at whats coming up on Catalyst (see their previous Catalyst promo here).

SBS have been running this 60 second look back at their coverage of the World Cup, they’re rightfully proud of the whole thing, and I’m not sure if it would work as well as it does on any other network.

Last month I assembled what I thought was the complete collection of the current Channel 4 idents, apparently I was missing this one however.

I’ve since added it to the original post, so short of a new one being made in the last few week see the entire collection here.

The ABC has certainly got alot of mileage out of Al Harding’s tune Light My Way. I’m glad that they’ve restrained its use to just these This is where it is promos though.

“The World Awakes” in this particular promo to The Next Mega Quake, Life and Times of El Nino, In Search of Myths and Heroes and Killer Ice.

Last week I mentioned how the ABC was starting to watermark HD programs. Well, in the space of a week they’ve decided to change the watermark a bit. I’m starting to think maybe the ABC should come up with a HD brand, like the way the BBC have.

The Chas-iasco made the evening news! I missed Channel Ten but my brother told me he saw a story on it, and I don’t think it made Nine (while still fitting in a Dancing on Ice story), and of course the ABC wasn’t about to pretend it didn’t happen. The Seven report actually isn’t that bad and draws attention to the point Chas was trying to make with the prank.

With the show’s slightly earlier timeslot and Morris Iemma’s otherwise approval it will be interesting to see how next weeks rates.
