Trans-network publicity should be good for ratings.

The Chas-iasco made the evening news! I missed Channel Ten but my brother told me he saw a story on it, and I don’t think it made Nine (while still fitting in a Dancing on Ice story), and of course the ABC wasn’t about to pretend it didn’t happen. The Seven report actually isn’t that bad and draws attention to the point Chas was trying to make with the prank.

With the show’s slightly earlier timeslot and Morris Iemma’s otherwise approval it will be interesting to see how next weeks rates.

Nine did cover it and the DOI story was not the lead story, to be fair they did show the story but it’s not like seven wouldn’t do the same.

it was on SKY news aswell. thats foxtel for christs sake! alot of people will be tuining in to see this!

i hope they show it on chaser cos it looks like a good gag, i know i would hav taken the stuff, if he was giving it away

My mum, who usually doesn’t mind the Chaser and watches it every so often, said that the ABC should sack the Chaser team! 😮 I was shocked!

Well, maybe Chas did go a teensy-weensy bit too far, but meh…

Given what the Chaser gets up to each week, it’s got to be a relief to the ABC that there have only been two major incidents so far (the Cole inquiry chequebook trouble and the Bulldogs kit arrest). In fact that’s a pretty good ratio – it’s bound to happen from time to time but it’s got to be taken light-heartedly.
