Motion Foundry continue their series of Channel Ten idents, this time forking off into the world of News. These are just as slick as the other Ten idents and stick with the “I believe..” concept. The black background actually feels more effective than the white backgrounds used in the other idents.
That said, I hardly ever watch Ten News, and doubt I would have seen these if it wasn’t for Alex at Motion Foundry, so thanks!

I believe: Ten’s idents suck. I’ll change channel as soon as one of those extended “I believe…” things comes on. What I don’t need in my life is to be fed a series of banal observations as pop-philosophy from some b-grade stars.
Damn, even half way around the world I’m getting tired of this “Seriously” campain. How many years has it been going on for? Do Australians actually “relate” to it?
I believe journalism on Ten sucks. Seriously.
I believe… Ten News seems Sydney-centric much?
Where’s this living legend..? http://youtube.com/watch?v=Fh5Y_4Jr3T4
For crying out loud, isn’t it time to ditch slogans they just seem quite backwards?
I believe…TEN should focus its efforts on trying to get some news cred…instead of making stupid idents!
“I believe there’s no better place for news”
hmmm – i believe you need to lay off the crack.
Conceptually these spots are flogging a dead horse. From a design perspective, they really are ordinary too. sorry lads. nothing to see here.
I believe the news on ten might be crap, but it wouldnt be a very good marketing campaign if they said that would it?
I think these promos do the job well, look great and I can’t see why they should stop using “seriously”
I Believe… In the power of the remote and the ability to FLICK TO SEVEN or even Nine(god help us) !!! Ten Sucks these days. They have some great presenters like Sandra Sully but have the worst news bulletiens, supers, promos, in-house adverts etc.
