the muppets is a good episode, but then all this series really are. having done a marathon west wing day last month (all episodes from series six back to back on dvd), they do get much much better. a comment from toby as the acting press secratary involving cj and a handbag had us all rolling on the floor.
There’s something about this promo that seems a bit… “commercial”.
At least it’s not as blatant as Seven’s efforts: remember Asteroid Week a long time ago, or when Sunrise and The Great Outdoors went to Las Vegas?
Like Daniel, I didn’t like the promo at all. It cheapens the show. There was a lot more worthy material for a promo from the ‘Muppets episode’. But if it were up to me, the promo would be cut from tomorrow’s second episode. ‘Supremes’ is one of the best written episodes of the season. This is the first promo I haven’t liked – the best ones so far, imo, have been last week’s (http://idents.tv/blog/?p=323) and one from earlier this season (http://idents.tv/blog/?p=260). They are brilliantly edited, and the music really adds something to them.
