Chris didn’t make an appearance on Canberra radio this morning (or I missed it), but he did talk to Dools and Myf on Triple J in the afternoon. Topics ranged from knitting, to Sexpo to JTV.

The ABC has just announced that it will begin a video podcasting trial tomorrow of entire episodes of The Chaser’s War and a specially produced version of JTV.
The podcasts will be available for download Fridays evenings. The press release says that the podcasting trial will continue for the run of the two shows this year, (before hopefully expanding).
They couldn’t of chosen two better shows to trial this with, and I guess now my weekly Chaser highlights have officially been usurped, and if the thousands of times that the two full episodes of The Chaser that I offered for download are anything to go by this should be huge. I can’t wait to see where this lands on the iTunes top ten.

First they devised Are You Being Shagged? to parody double entendre humour, now its Brightly Bloom the Daffodils taking a look at the tame and tasteful humour of the classic British sitcom… its “minor mishaps in an English village with mildly amusing consequences”.
Then for those of you fortunate enough to not know what a snuff film is you can just skip the second video. And finally another look at whats coming up on Catalyst (see their previous Catalyst promo here).

The Chaser reflects on the week that saw Chas arrested and a lot of extra media coverage for the show. They also show the footage of Chas and his “offensive conduct”.
Chris talking to Rod Quinn (fillilng in for Ross Solly) on ABC Canberra local radio about Chas, media reforms, Dancing on Ice and the Bulldogs footage which will apparently be going to air on tonights episode at 9:40pm.

The Chas-iasco made the evening news! I missed Channel Ten but my brother told me he saw a story on it, and I don’t think it made Nine (while still fitting in a Dancing on Ice story), and of course the ABC wasn’t about to pretend it didn’t happen. The Seven report actually isn’t that bad and draws attention to the point Chas was trying to make with the prank.
With the show’s slightly earlier timeslot and Morris Iemma’s otherwise approval it will be interesting to see how next weeks rates.
