so, is the iPhone actually good as a phone? :3

Today is my first day of actual usage replacing all my other devices. It’s actually a better phone than it is an iPod. Because of the touchscreen, the iPod is not nearly as simple and intuitive to use. But it is much better for video and podcasts.
As a phone though it rocks. The call quality is amazing and it’s very intuitive. The web browser is also amazing as long as your on Wi-Fi. The mail is also quite good.
Overall, I’m very happy with it.

Ah.. I thought you could watch YouTube on it. Thats what it said on the advert.

You can watch some YouTube. Apple and YouTube are in the process of converting everything on YouTube into h.264 Quicktimes, which play on the iPhone and on Apple TV. Within the year they’ll have everything on YouTube converted.
