Australia Network, the international television service of the ABC has refreshed its identity and introduced a new slogan ‘From our world to yours’.
With the channel available in over 44 countries throughout the Asia Pacific region, the refresh needed cross cultural appeal, while also standing out in an already saturated television market.
The end result is a very fresh and contemporary on air look that perhaps our local ABC1 could learn a little from..

I think these look awesome! makes me want that channel here!
Great set of idents and bumpers.
It’s a shame that this station is limited to the Asia.
Looks good, but they do seem a bit stuck on the ‘Opera House and the outback’ clichéd view of Australia. What about the rest?
Great set of IDs!
Yet, I’ve always been bothered their clunky name. Maybe they could call themselves ‘ABC-Asia’ in the future…
these’re great. I don’t mind the australia network name. those of us overseas not blessed with chaser, kath & kim and summer heights high, don’t know what the abc is.
can’t help thinking the balloon device as used in the full promo is a little bit Bahamas. See what I mean…

Why can’t the ABC commission motion foundry to do the god awful Breakfast News OT’s…
These idents reminds me the ITV1 bubbles in UK!
Actually I think that these idents are quite nice though, and hopefully I can get ABC Asia Pacific for free as I subscribe the Hong Kong NowTV IPTV service Package!
wow, damnit why can’t ABC1 and ABC2 look that good?
I know right!?
I see a bit of copying from the BBC Balloon idents…
Very well done and beautifully crafted.
We don’t get this channel in New Zealand, which seems strange since we do get live feed from Sky News Australia with New Zealand outbreaks via our Sky digital service and
The History, Animal Planet and Nat Geo channels are the Australian version too with NZ ad outbreaks sometimes (hence the NZ time zone mentioned in the programme teasers in case you Aussies were wondering).
I might contact Sky and ask if there is any chance they could start broadcasting it. Our own state-owned TVNZ might look a bit askance at that though, I suppose.
i hid in come and fiynd me
That logo looks very familiar. Quark Xpress had one like it I think and had to change it.
i just hot now
