You’ve probably all seen the conceptually challenged ITV1 idents by now, and while these ITV2 idents stick to a theme at least, they don’t have much depth, but from a channel that describes itself as being personified by Cameron Diaz maybe thats what they were going for.
But none of that really matters, because ITV2 is the UK broadcaster of The American Office, a show which makes TV worth watching, and work worth going to.

‘Vacuous, shallow, dim…you’re watching ITV2!’
These make much more sense compared to ITV1’s! They’re just a little too green for my liking!
Also I don’t mean to hijack this ident space, (it would have got lost anywhere else!) check out the amazing new Channel 4 ident that started airing last night (if I’m correct!)! http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24547&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
I don’t know…maybe for some these may look awful, but let me tell you; this aren’t bad at all (I mean, at least they seem innovating…some channels tend to announce new graphics and show up with nothing)
I think the idents have done well for the channel but i’m not a big fan! ITV2 have however given them names when they first came out, “too hot” “too much” “too cold” “too fast” and “too sexy” there is another called “too loud” which isn’t on here.
