I actually first heard about this ident from you, my readers before I even saw it on TV, and its really really good, I think its actually better then the other new ABC 60 second promo. I think the ‘radioscape’ (pictured above) on the beach is the best part of it.

It also makes reference to the ‘push red’ function on digital TV’s so perhaps ABC will start introducing some interactive content soon.

“There’s more to…” works brilliantly. And I would love to see some interactivity with the ABC, and if they do introduce it, it would most likely start with ABC2. The new music they’re using works wonderfully, and I must say that I love the CG owl they use for the ABC Online bit of this ident.

The tweaking of the logo is great, and the ABC Shops segment (with the shopping trolley) is absolutely brilliant. The music in the ABC Radio segment is really sort of uplifting, isn’t it?

Also, does anyone else reckon that the guy sitting in the chair during the News and Current Affairs bit should be the presenter of a Current Affairs show? He just looks the part. 😛
