The new weather shares the same colour scheme as the rest of the broadcast, the maps and animation are cool and seamless, I’m just not sure about the colours.

SBS has relaunched its news broadcast with new graphics and a new set… I think the video speaks for itself.
The ABC appear to have just (or at least in the past few days) updated the feel of their portal site, abc.net.au. The whole site feels a lot cleaner and I hope they continue the new feel into their idents..

On a rather eventful trip to Sydney I managed to grab this Channel 7 ident. It was the first time I’d actually seen the non-regional idents (as I live in Canberra) for 7 and although I’m not a fan of idents just being cross promotion for other shows, 7 do a pretty good job gluing together stock footage into something cool (if not very short).

After making the big switch from SBS to ABC last year David and Margeret renamed themselves ‘At the Movies’ and got a new opening sequence, I really like it. Their old show on SBS, ‘The Movie Show’ got some new hosts and I might upload that opener as well.
This opening sequence was done for the ABC by Australian visual effects house Animal Logic.
