The Emmy’s aired last night here in Australia, and while it was your usual awards show fare, I thought a few moments were worth sharing…
In order of video above we have; a Family Guy musical tribute to the current state of television (Scrubs fans watch out); the cast of The Office making fun of Steve Carell; Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert talking global warming; and finally the uncensored version of Sally Fields bizarrely censored acceptance speech.

Isn’t that the “Freakin’ FCC” song? Some of those celebs look really pissed off during the FG song!
Also, I’m assuming they edited out “god-damn” from the American broadcast. *rollseyes*
The FCC is sheltered, it’s about bloody time they moved to the 21st century.
1) Its good that the celebrities looked uncomfortable – they deserve to be given teh swill that US network tv comes out with
–
2) the FCC should be removed – so out of touch
–
3) I notice, with anger, that FOX didn’t get a swipe from FG…considering it’s the worst network, that is unforgivable
–
4) blame FOX for the censoring, rather than the FCC, anyway.
The whole event aired LIVE on the Bio. Channel before Ten aired a crappy highlights package.
it hurts to hear the truth :3
