Samantha Armytage has taken over Lisa Wilkinson’s role on Weekend Sunrise alongside Dear or No Deal host Andrew O’Keefe.
In today’s broadcast she was joined by Seven Brisbane’s Talitha Cummins on news reading duties, but I’m not sure if that is a permanent change.
Seven recently appointed Melbourne fill-in newsreader and reporter Rebecca Maddern as permanent Weekend Sunrise newsreader. Don’t know why she wasn’t there today.

Why does Andrew O’Keefe have to host this? He’s the most annoying man on television and he already has quite enough exposure.

I like O’Keefe. He suits the format. He is apparently doing a pilot for 7, a talk show of some description. I believe for late night tv.

There is going to be a pilot for a satuday night show. Kinda like hey hey its saurday. I love Sam she will fit in really well. It will be nice to see Bec and Sam both working side by side on the one show.
